My professional photography printers are designed specifically to print color-rich images. Unlike the standard CMYK printers, these printers come with 9 or even 11 colors, replicating colors with their saturation and vividness. They can truly replicate exactly what you see on your screen onto a professional photo paper.

Equipment

We use a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000, Epson SureColor P5000, and an Epson SureColor P7570 printers for this service. These professional photography printers by a leader in professional imaging solution are capable of replicating saturated colors of RGB with their banks of specifically formulated vivid inks. imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 uses 11 colors to ensure vibrancy and saturation of bright colors as well as various levels of dark colors. SureColor P5000 is a 17-inch wide format production printer equipped with 11-color system. SureColor P7570 is a 24-inch wide format printer with 12 colors, including secondary colors Yellow, Orange, and Violet to truly replicate stunning contrast of colors.

Professional Photography Papers

As part of professional imaging solution, the papers of which high quality, specially formulated inks will be sprayed upon do matter as much as the inks and the image files. Papers will be the final retention media for the images you'd be printing and papers will be subject to many different environmental and technological issues arise with printing.

We use Epson Premium Luster Photography Papers as these papers are specifically engineered to work with our Epson professional series printers. The Premium Luster Photography Papers are more resistant against fading than regular papers and are a lot more durable than standard photo papers. They are neither glossy nor are they matted. They aren't exactly semigloss either. The muted reflectiveness of luster papers allow them to show vibrant colors without interference from glares due to excessive environmental lighting.

We also offer Epson Metallic Luster Photography Papers for those who are looking to give their prints more "pop" effect. They give lighter colors a metallic sheen. Under the right lighting, they make any light colors pop out in a pseudo-3D effect.

Production Lead Time

Standard production lead time is 15 days from the date of which the order invoice is paid. This time does not include shipping time. Please refer to shipping cost section's shipping time for reference in regard to shipping time.

Rush Order Service is available upon request. Rush Order Service will shorten production time to 1 to 5 days. The cost of Rush Order Service is 25% of product cost (print cost after applicable discounts minus shipping cost and applicable taxes) or $50, whichever is greater. All Rush Order Service orders will be shipped by UPS Next Day Air Saver with shipping cost quoted based on the quantity and weight of order. Faster shipping option is available by request.

Production will not start until invoice is paid. Any estimated shipping date or delivery date are based on when order is paid in full.

Please note that the print files must be at least 150 dpi or the print will be so overly stretched that details of the images will become blurry on paper.

Bleed Edge: This service will print all images with borderless printing enabled as default. This means the printer will intentionally print each image slightly beyond the edge of the paper so to fully utilize the entire paper. The margin on 4 sides of the image that will be printed beyond the paper is known as bleed edge. The template files above contain the approximate margin of which the bleed edge will be. Please keep in mind that the margin is strictly an estimate and the printer might scale it a centimeter or 2 beyond or behind the bleed edge lines.

What to do about bleed edge?

  1. Put the least important portions of the image into the bleed edge margin.
  2. Put your own border around the image to cover over the bleed edge with a centimeter or 2 of safe margin to avoid random cut-off during printing.
  3. Request in order inquiry to have borderless printing turned off if you want to avoid bleed edge cut-off completely and send just the image file. With borderless printing turned off, the printer will center the image on paper and leave a white, unprinted margin around it (where bleed edge margin will be). Your image will be printed on paper with a lot of white space around it.
If you have question or issue with setting up the print files, you will need to pay the print file setup fee of $10 per image for SixthLeafClover Studios to set the print file up for you.

  2. You must pay the order in advance before production takes place. SixthLeafClover does not allow payment plan for this service.
  3. Certain subjects depicted by image are not acceptable by SixthLeafClover Studios for this service. Please inquire if have doubt about what is acceptable.
  4. You are responsible for the content and the print produced. You must assume all risk, liability, and responsibility when using this service.
